Design (Tier-02): Flexible design applies to my templates. Full custom design is billed separately -- I propose one design with up to three iterations, we bring in a designer I trust, or you bring your own (BYOD). The surcharge depends on the route.
Hosting add-on (Tier-01 & 02): I run the site for you: hosting, domain & SSL, updates, monitoring. Optional -- on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or yearly plans. No database hosting: apps that need a DB run on a managed database service.
Revisions: Revision = change work on request: text edits, image swaps, small layout tweaks. Every plan includes a monthly hour budget. EUR 25/MO -> 1H OF REVISIONS; EUR 50/MO -> 2H OF REVISIONS.
Payment: 40% down for Tier-01 & 02, balance on delivery; Tier-03 lump-sum or daily rate. Prices are final -- no VAT charged (EU reverse charge applies).

Every delivery ships with a Google Lighthouse performance score above 90, guaranteed in the contract and verified together with the client at delivery.

## Process

1. **Discovery call** -- Free. We map what you need -- if you're unsure, I counsel. We decide whether I host.
2. **Scope & contract** -- Fixed quote, timeline, contract. 40% down books the build.
3. **Work starts** -- Materials received -- confirmed to you in writing. The delivery clock starts here.
4. **Delivery & QA** -- You review the live site; we verify the 90+ Lighthouse score together.
5. **Balance & keys** -- Balance on delivery. Code, content, domain -- everything becomes yours.

## Ownership

On balance payment the full IP -- code, design, content, domain -- transfers to you, whole. During the build the code lives in Kogaionon repositories only; handover happens at delivery, complete.
- **Full IP transfer:** Everything transfers on balance payment -- no licences, no strings.
- **Contractual wipe:** We contractually oblige ourselves to wipe every copy of your code and IP from our repositories and machines.
- **No lock-in:** Even hosted with me, you can take everything and leave at any time -- if over a quarter remains on your hosting plan, only the months beyond the first three are still billed.

### How much does a professional website cost?
EUR 1,500 fixed for a single-page template site, extra pages EUR 250 each. A custom site -- up to 5 pages, flexible design on my templates, integrations -- is EUR 3,000 fixed; full custom design is billed separately. No surprises: the price is in the contract.

### Can I hire you as a freelance backend developer?
Yes -- freelance backend engineering and consultancy is Tier-03. Core stack: API design, TypeScript/Node ecosystems, Ruby on Rails, SQL & NoSQL -- backed by 6+ years leading and shipping, from private builds to NYSE-listed companies and government-grade subcontracting. I work remote, worldwide, on a lump-sum or daily-rate agreement set in the contract. You get one senior engineer by default, with a validated senior network across South-East Asia, France and Eastern Europe on call when the scope needs more hands. ### Do you build MVPs for SaaS startups?
Yes. SaaS MVPs are Tier-03: a fully tailored scope, shipped A->Z -- architecture, backend, frontend and deployment, with consultancy included. The engagement runs like everything else here: a free discovery call to define what actually ships, then a written scope and contract, lump-sum or daily rate. On balance payment the full IP -- code, design, content -- transfers to you, so your MVP is genuinely yours to grow or hand to an in-house team.

### How fast will my site be live?
Template site: 7 working days. Custom site: 15 working days. The clock starts when I confirm in writing that all your materials are in -- and every site ships with a Lighthouse score above 90, guaranteed in the contract.

### Who owns the code?
You do -- fully, on balance payment. Code, design, content, domain. We contractually wipe every copy from our repositories and machines. No lock-in, even if I host for you.

### Can my site be multilingual?
Yes -- custom sites include up to 2 languages, translated in-house for French, English, Spanish, Serbian and Romanian. Other languages: we set it up during the discovery call.
